An edible image is a flat $22 across every cake family. Fresh cream is a sponge-cake-only extra, from $10 (9 inch) up to $30 (full tray).
Cake style
Love heart cakes and drip cakes cost more than a standard round or slab of the same size — you're paying for the shaping and decorating time, not a different base cake.
Allergen requirements
Gluten-free and egg & dairy-free cakes are priced exactly the same as chocolate mud cake — same table, same numbers. The only difference is lead time: 5 business days instead of the standard 48 hours, because they're prepped separately to avoid cross-contact.
Full custom orders
Anything outside the standard range — a fully bespoke design, a wedding cake, a tiered cake — goes through our custom order form. We'll confirm final pricing once we've seen your brief, and it costs more than picking from the standard range above. Worth knowing going in.
Ordering Timelines (So You're Not Caught Out)
- Standard cakes: 2 days' notice
- Drip Cakes: 3 days' notice
- Allergen-friendly cakes: 5 days' notice
- Custom cake orders: 3 business days minimum, a week ahead recommended for anything detailed
- Weekend pickup: order by 11am Friday
- Monday pickup: available from our Helensvale Bakehouse (Head Office) only if ordered over the weekend

Do prices include decoration and a personalised message?
Standard decoration and a birthday message are included in the listed price for most cakes. More elaborate designs (edible images, multi-colour piping, tiered structures) may cost more — this is confirmed at checkout or during the custom order process.
Can I get an exact quote before ordering?
For anything in our standard range, the price you see is the price you pay. For custom orders, we confirm final pricing after reviewing your brief and before baking begins.
Is delivery available for an extra fee?
Not currently — all orders are click & collect from one of our 9 Gold Coast locations.
Do you charge more for allergen-friendly cakes?
No — gluten-free and egg & dairy-free cakes are priced identically to our chocolate mud cake range. The only difference is lead time: 5 business days instead of 48 hours.
