How It Works

Choose your flavour — vanilla/chocolate sponge or rich choc mud. Simple, classic, always a hit.

Select your icing, sides, and filling. Keep it minimal or dial up the colour — your call. A piped icing border is required to keep your edible image in place and ensure a smooth, picture-perfect finish.

Upload your photo (JPEG or PNG), or pick from our in-house image library. Tip: high-res files look best.

Add a message if you’d like — something heartfelt, cheeky, or perfectly personal. We’ll add your message to your photo where possible, instead of writing on the cake.

We offer a range of sizes, from small round cakes (6 inch) to large rectangle options that will feed over 100 people! You’ll see the choices when you order.
Photo cakes require 48 hours’ notice - or five days if ordering a special allergy free variety. If you’re in a pinch, give us a ring and we’ll see what we can do for you.
We may sometimes crop to fit the cake size and make minor tweaks for clarity, but we don’t do full photo edits—what you send is what we print.
Totally. Just make sure the text is big and bold enough to be read once it’s printed.
Close, but not exact—edible inks can vary slightly. Bright, high-contrast images work best.
The earlier, the better! We need at least 48 hours’ notice for all cake orders. For weekend pickups, make sure to order by 11am Friday. If you place an order over the weekend for Monday pickup, it’ll be available from our Helensvale Bakehouse only.
